Hi,
I am running Blood 2 & Nightmares on an XP machine.
Everything is fine apart from audio gets randomly cut off - such as the cutscenes, as well as the random sayings of by-standers and enemies alike. Also the mouse movement is jittery/sticking, not experienced anything like it on another game- tweaking settings has minimised this effect but not eradicated it - still the audio is what concerns me more
Having played Blood 2 extensively back in the day, it really grieves me to miss out on the awesome audio and sound bites :(

Any idea how I can sort this?
All help appreciated, thanks :D

P.S. wasn't sure which thread to post in so just whacked it in both, please don't hate me, and it's not as if they are cluttered ;)

Hello Deusvolt

There's nothing but headaches if try to run Blood 2 with a geforce related video card. Older geforce cards did a good job supporting games using pre-directX 8.0 renderers while cards made after 04 did not. If you open up the config. file you can adjust the mouse settings from there. I haven't experienced the Blood2 under-sensitive mouse problem but I've dealt with an overactive mouse before. The only luck I've had with the blood 2 oversensitive mouse is to completely reinstall the game. As far as your audio problem goes, the old troubleshooting guide advises deleting the sound rez. and searching the blood2 disk to install a new one. Before you do that please try the unofficial blood 2 sound patch. This patch is designed to bring back in game music so I'm not sure how much it will help. A lot of people have had luck running blood in compatibility mode for win 2000/ win 98 for sound problems
